Staff Recommendation <br />Committee Action: <br />PC: August 8, 2006 <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR A STREETS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br />Background <br />On January 25, 2006, Greg Lind, former Parks Maintenance Worker, was appointed to a <br />Streets Maintenance Worker position as a result of an internal recruitment process. <br />Mr. Lind has successfully completed his six -month probationary period as a Streets <br />Maintenance Worker and the Public Works Director recommends retaining Mr. Lind as a <br />Streets Maintenance Worker. <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the six -month probationary period, staff recommends <br />that Greg Lind be retained as a full -time regular Streets Maintenance Worker. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary <br />period for Mr. Lind and granting status as a full -time regular Streets Maintenance <br />Worker. <br />G:\ Administration \HumanResources\Performance Evaluations\Ending Probation\Lind, Streets, 8- 8- 06.doc <br />
