The EDA reviewed this case and recommended the sale of the property to Zero -Zone
Refrigeration. He advised in most cases the City requires a business to build on a site that is
purchased, but this business has approached the City and would like to remain in the City. Staff
has reviewed an appraisal that was completed on the property. This sale price is at the lower end
of the spectrum, but it is fair considering the restrictions on the property.
Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adopt Ordinance
#06 -27 authorizing the sale of the Lot 1, Block 1, Business -Park 95 Second Addition, Anoka
County, Minnesota.
A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary:
Mayor Gamec: aye
Councilmember Cook: aye
Councilmember Elvig: aye
City Council / August 8, 2006
-45-
