<br />- ~ ! <br />! <br />i <br />i <br />. j,; <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-10-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #_ RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM SCOTT AND LORI JONES FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />CONSTRUCT A METAL ACCESSORY BUILDING ON LESS THAN 2.5 ACRES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Scott and Lori Jones for a <br />conditional use permit to construct a metal accessory building on less than 2.5 acres on the <br />property generally known as 16000 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 8, Block 7, Hall Anderson Acres, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Propertyl1) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TillS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That on September 16, 1997, Scott and Lori Jones, hereinafter referred to as I1Applicants", <br />properly applied for a conditional use permit to construct a metal accessory building on a <br />parcel that is determined to be less than 2.5 acres in size. <br /> <br />2. That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on October 7, 1997, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subj ect Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 1.7 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels less than 2.5 acres in <br />size, the accessory structure shall be built with the same type construction materials and <br />shall have the same general design and exterior facing finish as that of the principal <br />structure on the parcel. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant is proposing to construct a metal-sided accessory building on the <br />Subject Property. <br /> <br />7. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code also states that the total amount of garage <br />and accessory structure space is limited to 1,664 square feet on parcels of land greater <br />than one acre but less than 2.5 acres in size. <br /> <br />G, <br />
