The Planning <br />Commission also recommended issuing the CUP as proposed. <br />Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />8/5/97 Regarding American Portable Telecom's request for a CUP for a <br />personal communication servIce tower: The Planning <br />Commission recommended adopting the findings of fact in the <br />affirmative along with amending #8 to eliminate reference to <br />ionizing radiation. The Planning Commission also recommended <br />approval ofthe CUP based on (1) the tower being moved as far to <br />the northwest as possible; (2) the letter submitted by Jane Butler; <br />and (3) compliance with the new City ordinance on PCS towers. <br />Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />8/5/97 Reschedule the November meeting of the Planning Commission <br />from 7:30 to 8:00 on Tuesday, November 4, 1997. <br /> <br />7/14/97 Transwest, Inc.'s request for an !UP: The Planning Commission <br />recommended City Council approve the Findings of Fact, <br />amending #9 through #14 in the affirmative. The Planning <br />Commission recommended City Council approve the request for <br />an Interim Use Permit for a temporary structure, along with a <br />recommendation for the construction of an earth berm (not to <br />include trees) across the north property boundary.
