..

.

CASE #2

HIGHWAY #10 REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
By: James D. Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator

Background:
At our last meeting the EDC suggested that the area of study to be expanded to include the
property on the northside of the railroad trackes to the west of Armstrong Boulevard Northwest.
Based upon this direction I have included the south half of Section 20 in the planning area. In
addition the commissionmembers requested the types of operations and the restrictions of those
operations on each of the districts. A breakdown of those zonong districts area attached to this
case. The EDC should note that the Planning Commission is currently reviewing chapter 9 of the
City Code that may result in some changes to these general guidelines.

The commission also requested that I provide some suggestions as to the possible uses of the
areas. These suggested uses are on the large half section MAPS and include what the property is
currently zoned.

Commission Action:
Based upon discussion the EDC should provide further input as to the development of the
Highway #10 plan..

Reviewed By:
Economic Development Coordinator
City Administrator

EDC:04/03/97

3
