..

"

...

Staff Updates

. Building Projects: The City has received reservations for the entire 15:!:
acres along the southside of McKinley Street Northwest. This property will
be taken by the following companies for new building projects: Minnesota
Tool & Die Works (20K), Julian Johnson Building (48K), Precision
Woodworking (45K) and AMCON spec. building (50K). This brings the
City's inventory down to about 45 acres.
. Marketing Plans: I have met with Shelly Anderson from AEC concerning
the planning for the first business breakfast. Since this meeting is scheduled
for 1 :00 p.m. on Wednesday I will update the commission at our Thursday
meeting. The EDC members should begin to determine what times will work
best for them to attend and if they have any suggestions as to the program and
who should be invited.
. Building Walkthroughs: The Heritage Millwork facility will be completed
in approximately 3 weeks. At that time a walk through will be scheduled. As
in the past I will try to schedule the walk through at 5:30 on a Wednesday to
allow for some standard scheduling of events.

Li1
