<br />14280 Sunfish Lake Blvd NW: Riverside Manufacturing - Site plan and Business Subsidy <br />was approved on April 25th, 2006. Construction has commenced and should be substantially <br />completed in December 2006. <br /> <br />5175 142nd Avenue NW: Staff net with an insurance company that has interest in construction a <br />5-10,000 Square foot building. More information to come... <br /> <br />14050 Basalt Street: Demolition commenced on the building on May 4th, 2006. The majority of <br />the building has been demolished and the next phase of site clean-up will start orice the building <br />is completely removed. It is anticipated that the site should be ready for development at the end <br />ofthe Fall. Staff will continue to work with Ace Solid Waste to develop the site. <br /> <br />14230 Basalt St NW: David Perkins Contracting continues to operate their business on the site <br />acquired by the City. The business is currently putting the finishing touches on its project and it <br />is anticipated that the move into the new facility will be complete in Mid-September. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />Ramsey Crossings: Staff testified on August 28th at the Public Purpose hearing for the <br />acquisition of the parcels need for the project. The court will now approve land commissioners <br />and rule on public purpose within the next 20 days. <br /> <br />Additional Parcels Identified for Acquisition: Staff testified on August 28th at the Public Purpose <br />hearing for the acquisition of the parcels need for the project. Four of the parcels identified were <br />also listed in the City CIP. Those 4 parcels include: KIH, Sparkle Pool, Eugene Brown, and <br />Anna Parks. At the February 21st Council meeting resolutions were passed that moved for the <br />acquisition of these parcels and to use eminent domain where appropriate. The Parks property <br />has been acquired. And the other 3 parcels are engaged in the condemnation process. More <br />updates to come. <br /> <br />Lot L Block 2, Sunfish Lake Business Park 2nd Addition: The soil compaction is complete on <br />this site and it is now ready to be marketed for development (of course, the dirt has to be <br />removed).
