Ramsey, MN 55303 • (763) 753- 1621.gvgb.com <br />August 21, 2006 <br />Site Plan Review for Plant Shipment Building <br />Scope: <br />This project seeks to improve the internal flow of the growing and shipment of <br />plants at Green Valley Greenhouse. The existing "East Addition" will eventually be <br />replaced with a combination of greenhouse and shipment structures. The completed <br />project will fill the current footprint of the "East Addition". Financial and production <br />limitations make it necessary to complete the project in phases. The estimated <br />completion for the project would be 5 to 10 years. <br />Future Plan: <br />A conceptual plan of the future structures is included to give City officials an <br />indication of the long term plan. Final designs will depend on the future needs and <br />market changes that affect Green Valley Greenhouse. <br />Phase 1: <br />The following information applies to "Phase 1" to be completed on or about <br />March 31, 2007. <br />1. Add 7176 square feet of structure to facilitate the staging, loading, and <br />shipment of outbound plant material. This structure will include three truck <br />loading positions. The structure will be located such that the 65 foot no build <br />perimeter is maintained. The additional structure will not exceed the 35% <br />limit for the 37.5 acres of property. <br />2. Green Valley Greenhouse is in the process of submitting permit forms to the <br />Lower Rum River Water Management Organization (LRRWMO). <br />3. Green Valley Greenhouse has completed a Master Site Drainage Analysis. <br />The proposal includes a Ponding Plan. <br />
