This code amendment would change the definitions section to reflect the zoning districts that <br />currently exist in City Code and on the Official Zoning Map. <br />Citizen Input <br />There was none. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Chairperson Nixt, to close the public hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, Cleveland, <br />Hunt, Levine, and Trites Rolle. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />The public hearing closed at 9:37 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Chairperson Nixt called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at 9:37 <br />p.m. <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to recommend that the City <br />Council introduce an ordinance to revise Chapter 9.20 of the City's Zoning Code to update the <br />zoning district definitions. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Cleveland, Brauer, Hunt, <br />Levine, Trites Rolle, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />Case #8: Public Hearing Consider Adding Section 9.20.29 (Public /Quasi - Public <br />District) to the Zoning Chapter of City Code; Case of City of Ramsey <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 9:38 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 9:38 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Dalnes reviewed that in 2001, the City of Ramsey adopted an updated <br />comprehensive plan that re- organized the zoning and land use districts. A Public /Quasi Public <br />district was added to the Official Zoning Map at this time, but no standards were incorporated <br />into City Code.
