<br />alternate may be desirable to keep the trail a more uniform <br />distance from the Mississippi River for better stormwater control <br />within the Kings Island area. <br /> <br />Crossing the oxbow in this location will require a bridge structure <br />with concrete abutments and construction of two approaches to <br />the bridge. This se.gment will connect to the existing trail system <br />within the Mississippi River Community Park. <br /> <br />c. Raised Trail <br /> <br />The Kings Island trail could be constructed as a raised walkway <br />on wooden piling.
