Increase the capacity oflocal government to participate in the provision of and provide <br />information to residents on the availability of transit and other high occupancy vehicle, <br />commuter services. <br /> <br />Goal 4: <br /> <br />Enhance the existing network of pedestrian and bicycle routes and <br />recreational trails throughout the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />An attractive and comprehensive system of pedestrian and bicycle routes is <br />important for three reasons: alternative transportation, recreation, and protection <br />of open space. <br /> <br />Obiectives <br /> <br />A Develop a transportation plan that encourages use of a wide variety of transportation <br />modes. <br /> <br />B. Develop and implement a City-wide plan for pedestrian circulation and bicycle use. <br /> <br />C. Establish guideline and specifications for the location and design of trail facilities. <br /> <br />D.
