Ramsey, MN 55303 RE: City of Ramsey Minor Comprehensive Plan Amendment Metropolitan Council Referral File No. 16806-1 Metropolitan Council District No.9 Dear Mr. Norman, The Metropolitan Council staffhas reviewed the minor MUSA expansion amendment for the vacant land in the B-3 Highway business district. The amendment proposes to expand the MUSA by 3.0 acres. This expansion is due to the proposed development of a fast food restaurant along trunk highway 10. The current land use designation (B-3 Highway Business District) would not change. We have found that the proposed amendment is incomplete, in order for the plan to be considered complete, the Council must receive a copy of an access agreement between the city and the pet hospital business. Please send a copy of the agreement to the Council as soon as possible. A copy of your plan amendment was sent to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. You may receive separate advisory comments related to this plan amendment directly from MnDOT.
