Mr. Davis stated that our exp~sion request is deemed incomplete as ,the Anoka
County Transportation, Plan update has not been, completed to Mr. Carl Ohm's
(Metropolitan Council) satisfaction. He further stated that Mr. Ohin will be meeting with
the representatives from BRW this week (June 27 through July 1) to discuss the new traffic
projection numbers. If, at that meeting, all of Mr. Ohm's questions are answered, then
BRW will submit the plan to Anoka County for review and adoption. When Anoka
County has adopted the updated plan, the City's application will be considered complete
and the 90-day clock would start.

Mr. Davis indicated that he felt the review of the request would not take the entire 90 days
and approval or denial would be received shortly after Anoka County's acceptance of the
updated plan. In order to speed this process along, I will be taking the following actions:

1) Later this week I will be contacting Mr. Ohm to find out the results of his meeting
with BRW.

2) After talking to Mr. Ohm, I will be contacting BRW to see who they will be
directing the completed plan update to at Anoka County.

3) You or I should then contact Anoka County to ask if the plan could receive a
tentative approval and have them forward that approval to the Metropolitan Council.

4) Based upon that tentative approval, the City would request approval of our MUSA
request contingent upon Anoka County's final approval of the updated
Transportation Plan. '

This contingerit approval would allow the City to ,continue with its plans to extend City
services to the AnokaElectric property and the residential properties north of the current
MUSA line.
