This request was deemed to be incomplete until Anoka <br />County completed an update of its transportation plan. The City has received the completed plan update <br />and a letter from Anoka County confirming its acceptance. A copy of this confirmation letter and the <br />supporting data is enclosed. <br /> <br />The letter indicates Anoka County's continuing support of Ramsey's MUSA expansion. This report <br />supports the finding that Ramsey's MUSA expansion will not overly burden the existing and projected <br />roadways in Anoka County. The City further supports the improv,emems listed in the plan and will work <br />with Anoka County and other local government unit'i to make those improvements a reality. <br /> <br />With your receipt of these projections, the City of Ramsey's MUSA expansion request should be <br />considered complete. This Plan amendment was originally requested in October, 1993. Due to the <br />protracted review period, the City of Ramsey is now in a position of engineering for improvements <br />outside of the present MUSA area in order to have projects completed during 1995. Therefore, it is <br />imperative that this Plan amendment receive a positive Metropolitan Council Board review as quickly as <br />possible.
