• <br />OFFICIAL <br />CONTROLS <br />Issue <br />1) Adopt Environmental <br />Protection Ordinance. <br />(for entire City) <br />2) Amend existing zoning <br />ordinances reflecting <br />densities and permitted <br />use standards suggested <br />in the plan <br />B. OFFICIAL CONTROLS <br />In Ramsey the official controls include all local ordinances, <br />however, the most significant are: <br />a) Zoning Ordinance - The basic purpose of the zoning ordi- <br />nance is to establish minimum requirements and standards <br />for the utilization of land and structures within the <br />City. This involves the establishment of various zoning <br />districts, each with different allowable uses. <br />b) Subdivision Ordinance - Subdivision regulations establish <br />procedural and performance standards for the planning of <br />land for future development. <br />The following is a list of changes that will be made to the <br />City's ordinances as a result of the planning effort: <br />Adoption <br />Date <br />Program <br />1) See Critical Area Plan and Wild <br />Service and Recreation of River <br />Ordinance. Ramsey has environ- <br />mental protection ordinances <br />which were the product of this <br />planning process. The City has <br />been negotiating with the DNR <br />and EQB regarding these ordinances. <br />2) Zone, densities, and permitted <br />uses: <br />R -1 - 2.5 acres - single <br />family residential <br />b) UR - 10,800 sq. ft. - single <br />family residential. <br />UR - 6,000 sq. ft. - per unit <br />with PUD, single family and <br />duplex. <br />c) UMB -M - 3,000 sq. ft /unit - <br />multiple family. <br />d) UMB -H - 2,100 sq. ft /unit - <br />multiple family. <br />e) UB -C - Local Neighborhood <br />Convenience Center. <br />f) UB - Neighborhood Shopping <br />Center. <br />98 <br />1. 7/82•_ <br />2. 7/82 <br />4 -1 :82 <br />10 -14 -81 <br />
