• <br />wrl <br />• <br />HOUSING , <br />D. HOUSING' <br />• <br />Ramsey is not currently part of the Metropolitan Urban <br />Service Area. However, a portion of Ramsey is scheduled <br />to be added to the urban service area between 1981 - 1990. <br />As portions of Ramsey become more urbanized, a more delib- <br />erate effort is necessary to assure that the housing needs <br />of this region of the metropolitan area are met. Housing <br />programs Ramsey will initiate when utilities are available <br />include: <br />1. Allowing 6,000 sq. ft. lots for single family homes <br />which are part of a Planned Unit Development. <br />2.. Allow multiple family densities as high as 20 units <br />per acre. <br />3. Encourage developers to use of Minnesota Housing <br />Finance Agency for financing multiple family <br />developments. <br />4._ Encourage construction of energy efficient housing. <br />5. Adoption of a truth-in-housing ordinance. <br />100 <br />
