Galvanized finishes shall <br />not be permitted. <br /> <br />Oi- <br />I <br /> <br />1.70.01.511 <br /> <br />NON-CONFORMrNG USES <br /> <br />rNTENT: It is the intent of this chapter to permit an existing <br />non-conforming use to continue until it is removed, but not to <br />encourage its use or expansion. <br />Any structure and/or use existing upon the effective date of the <br />adoption of this chapter may be continued as long as it remains <br />otherwise lawful provided that it meets the following provisions. <br /> <br />1. No such use and/or structure shall be expanded or <br />enlarged except in conformity with the provisions of this <br />chapter. . <br /> <br />2 . A non-conforming use of a structure which has been <br />discontinued for a period of twelve (12) months shall not <br />be re-established and any further use shall be in <br />conformity with the regulations of this chapter. <br /> <br />3 . A non-conforming structure which is damaged by any cause <br />to the extent of more than fifty percent (50%) of its <br />market value as determined by the current records of the <br />City Assessor shall not be restored except in conformity <br />with the regulations of this chapter. <br /> <br />,; <br /> <br />9 <br />
