CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2024, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Michael Olson <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br />Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br />Members Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Administrator Brian Hagen <br />Planning Manager Todd Larson <br />City Attorney Fritz Knaak <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Kuzma called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Kuzma. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />2.01: Presentation Proclaiming September 17 - 23, 2024 as Constitution Week <br />Mayor Kuzma read the proclamation declaring September 17 through 23, 2024, Constitution <br />Week. <br />Dawn Sieber with the Daughters of the American Revolution came forward and thanked Ramsey <br />for their partnership and support of Constitution Week. <br />3. CITIZEN INPUT <br />Derek Lind with the Anoka County Election Integrity Team came forward and gave an update on <br />other cities that are passing similar post -election reviews. He explained that they are also wanting <br />to get rid of electronic poll pads for the precincts because the data could leave the precincts when <br />it should not. He shared that there are 28 counties that do not use electronic poll pads, 16 counties <br />use a combination of paper and electronic, and 45 counties use all electronic poll pads. <br />City Council / September 10, 2024 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
