<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The Metropolitan. Council is the regional agency that oversees t!1e issues <br />affecting the Metro area. They control many of the regional systems, such <br />as transportation, parks, sewers, etc. The areas that the City is required, to <br />address in the comprehensive plan are: <br /> <br />. Land Use <br />current and proposed land use, staging plan, housing plan, surface <br />water management plan, historic site preservation, and solar access <br />protection. <br /> <br />. Public facilities <br />transportation plan, aviation plan, sewer plan, parks and open space <br />plan, water supply plan. <br /> <br />. Implementation Plan <br />a narrative that describes how we will implement the plan. <br /> <br />In addition, the City is including an economic development section, a <br />chapter on the Mississippi River Critical Area Corridor and an <br />environmental protection and natural resources management section. <br /> <br />All of this information is compiled into a document titled the <br />- Comprehensive Plan. All jurisdictions in the 7 County Metropolitan Region <br />are required under state law to submit a plan. Ramsey's Plan has been <br />drafted keeping in mind the policies of the Metropolitan Region but it isa <br />plan unique to our commUIlity ,and our vision. <br /> <br />Please visit each stationfor a summary of specific sections of the City of <br />Ramsey Comprehensive Plan. <br />
