4 T ` • <br />• <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Monday, March 1, 1999, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br />Also Present: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br />Cindy Sherman, Community Development Director <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the special City Council meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to <br />approve the agenda as presented. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Hendriksen <br />and Anderson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Approve Moratorium Ordinance <br />City Administrator Norman stated that an ordinance extending the moratorium was <br />introduced at the regular Council meeting of February 23, 1999. <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen inquired if we put this moratorium extension on now, is <br />this automatically lifted when the Comprehensive Plan is approved by the City Council <br />or does it stay on until the comp plan is approved by the Metropolitan Council? <br />City Council/March 1, 1999 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
