These changes are based on an informal review from the Metropolitan
Council, DNR, MnDOT, National Park Service, discussions with City staff and the workshop
held January 26th with the Planning Commission and City Council. A few typographical errors
and clarifications were made to several pages throughout the document which I did not include in
this memorandum in order to focus on the key changes. The changes should flow from the
beginning of the document to the end.

Changes to the transportation element and the critical area plan have not been completed but will
be provided to you at the meeting on Tuesday. Also some changes to the maps have been made
and will also be presented at the meeting on Tuesday.

1. On Page 21 insert Assumption # 11 to read as follows: "Ramsey's persons per household
figure currently estimated at 3.3 persons per household will likely decline to 3 persons per
household or less by 2010."

2. On Page 22 revisions were made to the last line in the 2nd paragraph and Table 8 to read as
follows: "Table 8 outlines the Metropolitan Council projections for the City of Ramsey and
provides a comparison of the City's own growth projections based on growth trends and
available land supply for development. The City projections are based on projections
completed while analyzing the future growth according to Traffic Analysis Zones (T AZ) and
according to the development staging plan as shown in Chapter V.
