R -98 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN OF THE <br />CITY OF ANDOVER TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DISTRICT DESIGNATION <br />FROM RU, RESIDENTIAL URBAN SINGLE FAMILY TO P, PUBLIC AT OAK <br />VIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL (PIN 22-32-24-14-0004,0005,0006,0007, AND 22-32-24- <br />13-0005), AND FROM OS, OPEN SPACE TO P, PUBLIC AT ANDOVER CITY <br />HALL (PIN 22-32-24-41-0001 & 0002) BY THE CITY OF ANDOVER. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Andover has petitioned for an amendment to the Andover <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan to change the land use district designation from RU, <br />Residential Urban Single Family to P, Public on approximately 49.1 acres located at the <br />Oak View Middle School site, located at 15400 Hanson Boulevard NW, legally described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />The Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, <br />Range 24, Anoka County, Minnesota; except roads, subject to easements of <br />record <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />Commencing at the southeast comer of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast <br />Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 24, Anoka County Minnesota; thence <br />west along the south line of the Northeast Quarter of said section to the point of <br />beginning, 1,013 feet east of the southwest comer of the Southwest Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter; thence north at right angles 445 feet; thence North 0 degrees, <br />21 minutes, 20 seconds East, to the north line of the Southwest Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter; thence east at right angles along said north line to the <br />northeast comer of said quarter quarter; thence south at right angles along the east <br />line of said quarter quarter to the southeast comer; thence west at right angles <br />along the south line of said quarter quarter to the point of beginning; subject to <br />easements of record; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Andover has request an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan <br />to change the land use district designation from OS, Open Space to P, Public on <br />approximately 40 acres at Andover City Hall located 1685 Crosstown Boulevard, legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, <br />Range 24, Anoka County, Minnesota; subject to roads and easements of record; <br />and <br />
