I' I: I I' I I' I- I, I; I I i I:. , ORDINANCE #89-16 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 150.01 KNOWN AS THE SEW AGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 150.01 OF THE CITY CODE. The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 150.01 of the Ramsey City Code penaining to alternative treatment systems is amended to read as follows: Communal Disposal Systems: The use of sewage collection systems with a common disposal site (communal drainfields) is prohibited within the designated Metropolitan Urban Service Area (Referenced as 1990 Urban Service Area Alternative). Seepage Pits: SECTION 2. The use of seepage pits is prohibited for disposal of sewage effluent. REPEAL. Subsections penaining to communal disposal systems and seepage pits in the Ramsey City Code entitled "Sewage Disposal Systems: chapter are hereby repealed only to the extent that they are not applicable to subdivisions, improvement applications, or system repair applications filed with the City for approval after the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE D ATE. This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication according to law, subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.04. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota on the 25th day of July, 1989.
