I I' I: I Ii I , I Ii I APPENDIX D ORDINANCE NO. 89-33 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY ST ATE OF MINNESOTA A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 89-33 WHICH IS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 170.0 KNOWN AS THE PLANNING, SUBDIVIDING AND SIGNS CHAPTER. THE CITY OF RAMSEY ORDAINS: The following official summary of Ordinance No. 89-33 has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: It is the intent and effect of Ordinance No. 89-33 to define certain categories within the Rural Service Area in order to implement "4 in 40 acre" zoning. The Ordinance assures that lawful existing uses shall be designated as conforming uses in the districts where development densities change. The Ordinance amends minimum lot sizes to 2.5 acres in the Rural Transition District, 5 acres in the Mississippi River Critical Rivers District and 10 acres in the Rural and Urban Reserve Districts all with a maximum density of 4 dwelling units per 40 acres on a pro rata. The Ordinance further defines development eligibilitY,of parcels as of January 1, 1990 and outlines Development Limitations. A printed copy of Ordinance No. 89-33 is available for inspection by any person at the City Municipal Center. This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after publication according to law, subject to City Chapter Provision, Section 5.04.
