<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-04-102 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION IDENTIFYING FINDINGS, APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN <br />AMENDMENT TO CHANGE A LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM RURAL <br />DEVELOPING TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF <br />TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 13,2004, the City of Ramsey received a request from a contractual <br />property owner on Sunfish Lake Blvd. requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to <br />change the future land use designation of his property from Rural Developing to Low Density <br />Residential for the following legally described property: <br /> <br />The east 165.28 feet, as measured along the north and south lines thereof, of the west <br />half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />The east 165 feet of the west 330 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter <br />of Section 23, Township 32, Anoka county Minnesota <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />The west half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except the west 330 feet thereof, as measured <br />along the north and south lines of said west half of the Southeast Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter and also except the east 165.28 feet, as measured along the north and <br />south lines of said west half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter. <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />The west .165 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1 High Point 2nd Addition <br /> <br />(The Subject Property) <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan approved in 2001 shows the subject property <br />designated land use as Rural Developing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owners are requesting that the subject property designated land use <br />be changed to Low Density Residential; and <br />
