Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-03-085 A RESOLUTION IDENTIFYING FINDINGS, APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE A LAND USE DESIGNATION ON THE PROPOSED PLAT OF BROOKFIELD ADDITION FROM RURAL DEVELOPING TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, on February 3, 2005, the City of Ramsey received an application from Oakwood Land Development (the "Property Owner") requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the future land use designation from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential for the following legally described property: The Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except the two following described parcels: Beginning at the northwest comer of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence east along the north line thereof, a distance of 148.50 feet; thence southwesterly to a point in the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, distant 148.50 feet south of the northwest comer thereof; thence north along the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter to the point of beginning. Beginning at the southeast comer of said Northwest Quarter ofthe Southwest Quarter; thence North 0 degrees 25 minutes 36 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the east line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, a distance of 81.00 feet; thence South 81 degrees 24 minutes 29 seconds West a distance of 347.14 feet; thence South 0 degrees 25 minutes 36 seconds East, parallel with said east line, a distance of28.50 feet to the South line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence South 89 degrees 53 minutes 38 seconds East, along said south line, to the point of beginning.
