Specific activities that students could engage in include water quality and
habitat studies, as well as general recreational use. Interpretive signs should be provided along
the trail displaying information about history, habitats, and distance traveled. The signs should
be constructed of weather resistant material and treated wood posts.
The Trott Brook trail system has tremendous potential to be developed into a scenic,
enjoyable trail for a wide range of users. A trail development plan incorporating these .
recommendations will ensure development in the most useful manner as well as maintain natural
integrity .

26

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
