Councilmember _ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-09-XXX RESOLUTION AWARDING SCHEDULE A OF DIVISION B OF THE 2006 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM WHEREAS, on March 28, 2006 the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Divisions B & C bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, the following is a summary ofthe bids that were received: Bidder Bauerly Companies W.B. Miller Inc. Hardrive Division B $1,309,319.98 $1,520,921.51 $1,656,544.00 Division C $180,242.43 $225,431.25 $229,253.70 WHEREAS, Bauerly Companies is the lowest responsible bidder of both Divisions B and C; and,. WHEREAS, Bauerly Companies have previously been awarded Schedule B of Division B in the amount of$419,172.18 and Division C in the amount of$74,167.66 on July 25,2006. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Bauerly Companies for Schedule A of Division B of the 2006 Street Maintenance Program in the amount of$890,145.80. 2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids.
