Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Management Intern Tim Gladhill <br />Wendy Simonson and Lori Seegs of Elk River Area Arts Alliance <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:52 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as follows: Case Nos. 1,2,4 and 3. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Elk River Area Arts Alliance <br /> <br />Wendy Simonson and Lori Seegs of the Elk River Area Arts Alliance provided a brief <br />presentation regarding the arts experiences offered through the Elk River Area Arts Alliance. <br />Ms. Simonson explained the Elk River Area Arts Alliance serves Ramsey residents. <br /> <br />Ms. Seegs stated Elk River Area Arts Alliance believes the arts are good for community <br />development; it can revitalize and attract people to the community. The Arts Alliance has been <br />growing their programs and their budget has grown; they now have staff and want to be a <br />regional source.
