-160— Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 06 -09 -xx RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24 2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while managing minor project changes; and WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than $25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by City Council, Project Team of James E. Norman, City Administrator and Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator approval required for change orders not greater than $10,000, ratification by City Council; and WHEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D /I Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project Team. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey ratifies the following change orders for the construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center: Change Order No. 1061 -10 $3,511.00 Additional plywood mounting board in data room, add steel framing and metal deck at training room roof corner, increase height of coiling counter doors /framing Change Order No. 1061 -11 ($12,469.00) credit Add of additional blocking and FRP Board, credit for corner guards at steel columns, credit for deleting black -out shade for southern concourse. Change Order No. 1161 -06 $13,554.00 Misc. electrical changes, changes to fixtures Change Order No. 1091 -04 $2,073.00 Revisions to drywall and framing impacting drywall TOTAL CHANGE ORDERS 08/16/06- 09/21/06: $6669.00 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 26 day of September, 2006.
