.ORDINANCE #03-001 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 <br /> WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br /> AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER <br /> OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MIN- <br /> NESOTA. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- <br /> TION 9.11.02 "ACCESSORY USES" OF <br /> CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAM- <br /> SEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. REPEAL' <br /> Paragraphs a. and b. of Subdivision 5, <br /> and Subdivisions 7, 9 and 11 of Section <br /> 9.11.02 are repealed in their entirety. <br /> SECTION 2. SUMMARY <br /> The following official summary of <br />Ordinance #03-001 has been approved <br />i by the City Council of the City of Ramsey <br />· as clearly informing the public of the <br />: intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> It is the intent and · effect of <br />Ordinance #03-001 to amend Ramsey <br />i City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning and <br />i Subdivision of Land) to amend the lan- <br />. guage prohibiting the construction of <br /> detached accessory buildings nearer the ' <br /> front property line than the principal <br />· structure so that it onlyapplies to lots less <br /> than 2 acres in size. The 16-foot height <br /> restriction on accessory buildings will be <br /> applicable to properties [ess than 2.5 <br /> acres in size versus properties located <br /> inside the Metropolitan Urban Service <br /> Area. The 22-foot height restriction on <br /> accessory buildings will be applicable to · <br /> -:properties 2.5 acres and greater in size, <br /> ::versus just properties located outside the <br /> · Metropolitan Urban Service Area. A vari- <br /> lance may be obtained to exceed the <br /> established height restrictions on acces- <br /> sory buildings. Criteria for considering <br /> variances to the 'height restrictions is <br /> included in the text. <br />"SECTION 3.
