Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#25-038 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO GMH ASPHALT CORPORATION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-55, 2024 PAVEMENT PATCHING CONTRACTED SERVICES WHEREAS, numerous public streets in the City of Ramsey require pavement patching; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2024 including $375,000 to temporarily repair bituminous pavement on numerous public street segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program, with another $200,000 reserved for temporary pavement repair projects in 2024; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution#24-087, adopted April 9,2024, the City Council approved plans and specifications and authorized advertising for bids for Improvement Project#24-55; and WHEREAS, four(4)bids were received, opened and tabulated on May 71h, 2024 and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisements for bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution#24-130, adopted May 14, 2024, the City Council authorized entering into a construction contract with GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, Minnesota, for the said project at the contracted price of$276,560; and WHEREAS, as of February 25, 2025, $216,688.07 has been paid to date; and WHEREAS, the Streets Supervisor has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, Minnesota for said project, in the amount of$111404.64. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The City Council hereby authorizes final payment to GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, Minnesota for Improvement Project#24-55, 2024 Pavement Patching Contracted Services in the amount of$11,404.64. 2) The City Council hereby accepts the project authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) The total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of February 25, 2025.
