CC Regular Session 5.7. <br />Meeting Date: 01/24/2023 <br />By: Colleen Lasher, Administrative Services <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Authorization to Hire a Full-time Police Records Technician <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to request authorization to hire a full-time Police Records Technician. <br />The former full-time Police Records Technician, Ms. Nicole Cramton, resigned from the City effective October <br />26, 2022. As a result of the vacancy, the City conducted an internal and external recruitment process. Ms.Tori Bruneau <br />was part of that process. Ms. Bruneau successfully passed the City's background investigations and pre -employment testing. <br />Ms.Bruneau will be subject to a 6-month probationary period, the City's Personnel Policy and AFSCME union contract. <br />This position provides administrative, clerical, reception and transcription support to the Ramsey Police <br />Department. In addition, the position also provides customer service support, exercising discretion <br />while building relationships within the community, residents and City staff. Other duties include, but are <br />not limited to, entering, maintaining, retrieving and compiling factual information through numerous <br />computerized systems and disseminating this information to authorized agencies and persons.
