W., Ramsey, Mlnnesota. <br /> <br />~rs Present: Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilnember Alan Pearson <br />Councilnember Stephen DeLuca <br />Councilnanber Arnold Cox <br />Councilnember Allen Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Mr. Larry Koshak, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimarm called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann mentioned the following upcoming events: <br /> <br />April 19 <br /> <br />April 29 <br />April 30 <br />p.ay 7 <br /> <br />- Special election regarding <br />volunteer fire department <br />- Arbor Day ce remony <br />- Clean-up Day <br />- Tree sale <br /> <br />airport zoning ordinance and <br /> <br />Councilmernber Cox presented a statement on his residential status and his <br />intent to be a Ramsey resident. He is not living at his business and he plans <br />on moving to a new residence in Ramsey within the week. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUr <br /> <br />Ben Deemer, 14544 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., questionned Councilmember Cox as to <br />where he resides now. <br /> <br />Councilnember Cox stated that he lives with his daughter in Burns Township. <br /> <br />1JI.r. Deemer stated that according to the City Clarter, when a Councilmernber is <br />not in residence the Council shall deem a vacancy. He has spoken to the <br />State Attorney General's office and was told that as far as they could tell <br />this would not be permissive. The City Council should take action on this <br />tonight as the first i tan on thei r agenda. <br /> <br />Janet Houle, 15230 Salish Street N. W., presented a petition to the Council <br />asking that the City Engineer conduct a study to consider bringing City water <br />into the Juniper ~loods developnent. <br /> <br />~ntion by Councilrnember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmernber Pearson to <br />receive said petition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />DeLuca, and Cox. <br /> <br />Voting yes: <br />Voting no: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann, Councilnembers Sorteberg, Pearson, <br />None. <br /> <br />City Council/April 12t 1988 <br />Page 1 of 13 <br /> <br />/9 <br />
