Schulte is requesting to subdivide portions of <br />two existing lots, CMned by Bill Weiss and ArIa Voltin) for inclusion in <br />his final plat of Oakwood Hill which will be coming before Council in June. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilrnember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve <br />Mr. Schulte's request for a metes and bounds subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #23: Recormnendation From Landfill Commission Rega1;dinaCurbside <br />Recycling Program: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the Landfill Commission has recommended that City <br />Council enter into a contract with Waste Management of Minnesota - Blaine <br />to manage a pilot curbside recycling program in River's Bend and Flintwood <br />Hills RID. <br /> <br />l-btion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />enter into a contract with Waste Management of Minnesota - Blaine for a <br />pilot curbside recycling program. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca stated that any equipment or <br />materials purchased for the program should have Ramsey's identity on it. <br />P~yor Reimann stated that he would like to make participation in the <br />recycling program mandatory and a log of participants should be maintained. . <br />Councilmember DeLuca suggested that an anti-scavanger ordinance for Ramsey <br />be researched. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: lv'~yor Reimann, Councilmernbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #24: Request From Park And Recreation Commission For A Joint <br />Meetina With Citv Council: <br /> <br />Council consensus was to conduct a joint meeting with the Park and <br />Recreation Commission on June 9, 1988 at 7: 00 p.m. <br /> <br />case #27: Accept Resignation Of Finance Officer Noel Graczyk: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />accept Mr. Noel Graczyk's resignation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: l<1ayor Reimann, Councilmernbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
