Mr. Olson also commented that he hpt; had a good relationship with the City of Ramsey in the past and has done a good job for Ramsey. There were no representatives present to speak on behalf of First Bank Syt ems. Hr. Hartley inquired if Mr. Conway Olson ".'ould be ,,'illing to serve as Ramsey's agent of record until after the election. Mr. Conway Olson replied that he would be willing to serve as Ramsey's agent of retord until after the election for a fee. Mr. Hadtrath stated that he is ldlling to serve as the City's agent of record until after the election f or no fee. Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pears on to table selection of an agent of record until the regular Council meeting scheduled for the first Tuesday in December 1988 and to direct the Ci ty Attorney to negotiate with T. C. Field and Company to serve as Ramsey's agent of record through December 15, 1988. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Pearson and DeLuca. Voting No: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, None. Abstained: Councilmember Bawden. Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pears on directing the Hayor and City Administrator to enter into the appropriate documents to extend Ramsey's insurance coverage as presented. Mr. Bartley explained that there is a situation where a home was built on the drainage easement on Lo~ 4, Block 4, Northfork. Mr. Dennis Peck of North Fork, Inc. is requesting that a portion of the dr~inage easement be vacated. Ramsey is concerned with the function of the easement and the safety of the home. Mr. Hartley stated that City Staff i.s recommending. that the vacation of the easement be tabled until the City Engineer and engineers from North Fork specifically determine where the drainage easements should be relocated to. Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to table action on vacating drainage easement on Lot 4, Block 4, North Fork. Further discussion: Councilmember Pears on inquired as to how situations like this happen. Mr. Bartley explained that the drainage easement was City Council/September 27, 1988 Page 9 of 18 ~~
