June and July of <br />1988. <br /> <br />Jan Reiter - 6522 153rd Avenue N.W. - Inquired if the improvements are to <br />accommodate some industry planning to locate in this area. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the intent of the improvements is to promote <br />commercial development and expansion of existing industry. <br /> <br />Duke Grosslein - 13544 Tungsten - Stated that for a long time he has made <br />city staff aware of his desire to have city sewer and water available to <br />his business; inquired why the improvements are proceed ing we s t for <br />prospective business rather than south to an existing business. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the proposed improvements would be extended to <br />serve Grosslein's. <br /> <br />Duke Grosslein - Stated that he is in the process of expanding his. business <br />,) and needs to know if he should have sprinkler systems installed. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that staff will inform Mr. Grosslein when tbe contracts <br />are awarded and that should be sufficient time to plan for installation of <br />sprinkler systems. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the public bearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann. Councilmembers Pearson and <br />DeLuca. Voting No: None.
