<br /> <br />1988. <br /> <br />,,--,) Mr. Hartley noted that there is a regularly scheduled Council meeting on <br />February 23, which is caucus night and no public meetings can be scheduled <br />after 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />c) Park grant - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that Ramsey has received a $40,000 grant from the <br />Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development for River's Bend <br />Park. <br /> <br />d) Transmittal from Clean Up Project - <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted a letter dated January '25, 1988 from Clean Up Project <br />regarding the porn material being broadcast on Cable T.V. since FCC <br />deregulation of Cable TV. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />forward a letter to the Cable T.V. franchise indicating Ramsey's <br />displeasure with their decision to broadcase pornographic material since <br />FCC deregulation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca and <br />Absent: Councilmembers Sorteberg and Cox. <br /> <br />e) MSA fund balance - <br /> <br />~--'} <br />- Mr. Hartley stated that the 1988 MSA allotment is $390,221.00; added to the <br />1987 fund, brings the MSA balance to approximately $600,000. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adjourn the regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None.
