<br />CASE 14: <br /> <br />INFORMATION ITEMS <br /> <br />1. At its meeting on March 8, 1988, the City Council took the following <br />action: <br /> <br />a) Denied a request by Breezy Outdoor, Inc. for a conditional use <br />permit to construct an advertising sign on Hwy. #10; <br /> <br />b) Denied a request by Mr. Tom Guyer for a wild animal license to keep <br />two bears in his yard; <br /> <br />c) Approved Mr. Richard Dreher's request for site plan review of the <br />second phase of River's Bend Plaza shopping area; and <br /> <br />d) Approved an agreanent with Anoka County for the construction of <br />County Road No. 116 approaching the protx>sed Rum River Bridge. <br /> <br />2) On March 22, 1988, the City Council took the following action: <br /> <br />a) Authorized the Mayor and City Administrator to execute a State <br />Outdoor Recreation Bonded proj ect Agreement for improvements to <br />River's Bend Park; <br /> <br />b) Approved a request by Mark and LuAnn Brozak for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a print shop from their garage for one year; <br /> <br />c) Denied a request by Mr. Timothy Shay to construct an advertising <br />sign; <br /> <br />d) Authorized execution of a preliminary development agreement with <br />Mr. George Carlson and River's Bend Properties for a proposed <br />apartment project; and <br /> <br />e) Adopted an ordinance amending Section 110 establishing regulations <br />for keeping vicious dogs. <br /> <br />3) For your information, enclosed are letters dated March 14, 1988 from <br />Chairman Greenberg to Representative Larsen and Senator Dahl regarding <br />property tax reform. <br /> <br />}7 <br />
