Mr. Guyer's request requires too many variances <br />to justify granting; he does not meet setbacks, minimum lot size, have a <br />secondary enclosure or liability insurance. Stated he doesn't believe the <br />enclosure is structurally sound; the bears are fed produce scraps and that <br />together with their bodily wastes creates a bad odor in the summer. <br /> <br />Tan Guyer - 15408 SUnfish Lake Blvd. - l'bted that there was no wild animal <br />ordinance in place when he brought the bears into Ramsey and he had no <br />guidelines to follow. Stated he feels his request should be grandfathered <br />in and noted that there is no State law that requires keepers of wild <br />animals to have liability insurance. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmernbers Pearson, Cox <br />and DeLuca. Voting No: None.
