Absent: Councilrrember Cox. <br /> <br />l-'btion by eouncilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution #88-56 modifying Development District No. 1 and <br />establishing Tax Increment Financing District No.4. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #88-56) . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilrnembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting NO: NOne. Absent: Councilnanber Cox. <br /> <br />Case #1: Review Draft Park And Landscape Maintenance Specifications And <br />Set Bid Date: <br /> <br />City Staff and Council proceeded to review the bids forms for each Ramsey <br />park contained in the bid specification to be sure the level of maintenance <br />provided is appropriate. <br /> <br />Brookview Park <br /> <br />\1J: 0 Hartley noted. that Brookview is a high-vandalism park. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto noted that the pi01.ic tables are cemented in place and end of year <br />stacking and beginning of year placement can be removed f rom the spec and <br />replaced with table painting and repaiJ:. Because of the vandalism, repair <br />fences will have to be added and clearing walks and trails can be reduced <br />to twice a year. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid and directed that the Park <br />Commission review any policy changes at Brookview that would eliminate or <br />reduce the incidence of vandalism. <br /> <br />Central Park <br /> <br />Mr. otto noted that litter control during special events should be <br />increased to 6 times/year; empty exterior trash containers should be <br />reduced to 22 times/year; raking increased to 3 times/year; beginning of <br />year table placement will included painting; add fence repair, inspection <br />of lights, water newly transplanted trees, bleacher repair, bench repair, <br />backstop repair; and granding parking lots. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for Central Park. <br /> <br />Git~y,J::all Grounds <br /> <br />Mr. Otto noted that watering of trees \-.'ill be added to the sp2c. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for City Hall grounds. <br /> <br />Ford Brook Park <br /> <br />City Council/l'.arch 29, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />77 <br />
