<br />'~ .;; _.~...~ ~"; (:; Y' ;.-:},: ,.} <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December <br />22, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />~~t.:i <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Claudia Dodge - Community Education Coordinator - Presented a memO stating <br />that the Ramsey Lions approved a one year grant to Ramsey Community <br />Education to implement a Communicator/Crime Prevention project in Ramsey; <br />requested Council endorsement of the project and appointment of a <br />councilmember to tbe Key Communicator Committee. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to add Ms. Dodge's request to the agenda as Case #9. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve tbe agenda with tbe following adjustments: <br /> <br />Add: <br /> <br />Case #9: Key Communicator/Crime Prevention Pilot Project <br /> <br />Under Mayor/Council Input, add: <br /> <br />a) Senator Greg Dahl's planned visit with Ramsey City Council. <br />b) Anoka Hennepin Scbool District #11 request to meet with Ramsey <br />City Council. <br />c) Letter from Anoka County regarding renewal of licenses for <br />generators of bazardous waste.. <br />d) County Commissioner Haas' resolution regarding the landfill siting <br />process. <br /> <br />City Council/December 22, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 15 <br /> <br />~3 <br />
