<br />e) Request from Association of Municipalities for a designated <br />contact person in Ramsey for legislative issues. <br />f) Acquisition of easements from Burlington Northern for ~torm sewer <br />improvements. <br />g) Fire Safety Committee request for a meeting to review their <br />report. <br />h) Report on the annual meeting of the Ramsey Landfill Board. <br />i) Authorize councilmember to review bills for payment on December <br />31 ~ 1987. <br />j) Adoption of resolutions confirming improvements at Central Park. <br />k) Review of articles regarding Ramsey's sewer capacity and renaming <br />Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />;.d <br /> <br />Tabled: <br /> <br />Case #4: Sewer and water improvements for Outlot B~ Rum Acres Estates <br />Improvement Project #87-27. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka referred to Case #9 in the Consent Agenda (Approval <br />of pay estimate No.1 for 1987 Central Park Improvements to E.H. Renner and <br />Sons) and noted that E.H. Renner has included a quality control device for <br />the well pump at Central Park at a cost of $150 which they are donating. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember CO:>!'lot:'nd seconded by Mayor Reimann to forward a <br />letter of appreciation to E.H. Renner and Sons for the donation of a <br />quality control device for the well pump at Central Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg~ Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Council directed Mr. Hartley and Mr. Goodrich to meet regarding Ram Lake's <br />resolution on the Corona project and report back to Council in January, <br />1988. <br /> <br />Council directed staff to solicit support from those cities that have not <br />responded to Ramsey's position regarding a preferred location for the <br />Mississippi River Bridge Crossing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Reimann to direct staff <br />to forward a letter of appreciation to Mr. Eric Radke for his service on <br />the Landfill Commission and to thank him for his comments and concerns <br />noted in his letter of resignation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox commented on the following concerns: complaints that <br />snowmobilers are damaging private property; doubling up of insurance <br />premiums being deducted from councilmember paychecks; application for <br />refund of SAC charges; results of Cty. Rd. #56 traffic study should be <br />discussed at the next council meeting an~ the results of the study should <br />be conveyed to the public.
