A summary of the basis for this offer is enclosed. <br /> <br />You will have a reasonable length of time to consider the offer. To <br />aid in your decision you may wish LO secure your own appraisal. <br />Minnesota law provides for reimbursement by the County in an amount <br />not to exceed $500 for the actual cost of an appraisal. Reimbursement <br />cannot be made, however, unLil your property is acquired. <br /> <br />If you decide to accept the County's offer, Lhe parcel will be ac- <br />quired by direct purchase and you will be paid upon satisfactory <br />evidence of merchantable title. The payment will be divided among <br />those who have an interest in the property as Lhey determine. If the <br />offer is unacceptable you may have your property acquired in an <br />eminent domain proceedings. The purchasing agent who delivers this <br />letter will furnish a boo1>;:let titled "Guide for Property Owners" in <br />which the methods of acquisition are described. He will be pleased to <br />discuss any questions you may have. <br /> <br />The letter and booklet are furnished to inform you as to procedures <br />and your rights in this acquisition.
