<br />NOTIFICATION AND WAIVER FORM <br /> <br />Section 323, Title 23, United States Code, states that no <br />provision of law shall prevent a person whose real property is <br />being acquired for a highway project from making a gift of <br />donation of such property, or any part thereof, or of any of the <br />compensation paid therefore, after such person has been fully <br />informed of his/her right to receive just compensation for the <br />acquisition of his property. <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a written <br />explanation of your right to receive just compensation for the <br />acquisi tion of your property for R.iJtb.H~r_IXQl.tt9J~_J;.P-.._.81..:::!t4..:::.P....a.. <br /> <br />If you elect to receive just compensation for your property, <br />federal and state law require that your property be appraised and <br />an amount be established which is believed to be just <br />compensation therefore prior to the initiation of negotiations. <br />The law also :r-equires that a prompt offer be made to acquire your <br />property for the full amount so established. In no event will <br />the amount offered be less than the county's approved appraisal <br />of the fair market value of the property appraised. <br /> <br />Should you desire to receive just compensation for your property, <br />the county will provide you with a written statement of a summary <br />of the basis for the amount established as just compensation. <br /> <br />For further information, please contact the person named below. <br /> <br />Paul K.
