Councilmember ______ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESCLUl'ION #88-_ RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR S.J.LOUIS CONSTRUCTION (PROJECT #87-19 EXTENSION OF SEWER AND WATER TO INDUSTRIAL AREA) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on April 14, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #87-136 awarding the bid to S.J.Louis Construction for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment to S.J.Louis Construction in the amount of $33,750.65. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANCI<A alJNI'Y, srATE OF MINNESOl'A, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to S.J.Louis Construction for the extension of sewer and water to the Industrial Area in the amount of $33,750.65. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #87-__ approving payment of the bills for the second half of the month of March, 1988. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember _______ and upon vote being taken thereon, the f011CMing voted in favor thereof: and the follCMing voted against the same: and the f011CMing abstained: and the fOllCMing were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of March, 1988.
