<br /> <br />P1WCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE or MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular me'eting on Tuesday, November <br />24, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Milmesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Counc i1tl1~mber Arnie Cox <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />C i t Y A t tor n e y W ill i a m Goo d r i c h <br /> <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 1:38 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN IKPUT <br /> <br />Ed Hamilton - 6615 Highway #10 N.W. - Presented copies of a letter <br />(Attachment A to these minutes) from heane Lora Hamilton and Winslow and <br />Corrine Holasek to City Council dated November 24, 1987 regarding <br />right-of-way for MSA road south of Hwy. (:10. Mr. Hamilton proceeded to <br />read the letter aloud. Mr. Hamilton then presented Council with copies of <br />a letter to them from Wins:ow Eolasek ciated November 24, 1987 (Attachment B <br />to tbese tinutes). <br /> <br />Y~yc= Rei=enn stated that be bas been approacbe~ oy the public regarding <br />tbe Council's intent to disbanc tbe police department and bas been informed <br />that there is a petition being circulating to stop such action. Mayor <br />Reimann stated that he his reply to these co~me~ts is tbat the City has <br />taken no official ac~icn to disba~c the police department. <br /> <br />Councilmetber Pearson stated that he has also received comments from the <br />public regarding disbanding the police department.
