1 Sec. 108-230 — Permitting requirements for permanent signs allowed with a permit. <br />2 All permanent signs requiring a permit must submit a sign permit application with the following <br />3 information: <br />4 (1) Wall signs, including banners, blade/projecting signs, typeface on awnings and cano- <br />5 <br />pies, and all business directory signs, area identification signs, and menu boards in- <br />6 <br />stalled <br />on walls. <br />7 <br />a. <br />The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- <br />8 <br />ing parties: <br />9 <br />i. The applicant, <br />10 <br />ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, <br />11 <br />iii. The owner of the sign, and <br />12 <br />iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br />13 <br />b. <br />Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. <br />14 <br />c. <br />Type of sign (box cabinet, channel letter, etc.). <br />15 <br />d. <br />Dimer isiui is of the sign. <br />16 <br />e. <br />Dimensions of the wall to which the sign will be attached. <br />17 <br />f. <br />Placement of the sign on the wall to which it will be attached. <br />18 <br />g. <br />Height of the sign. <br />19 <br />h. <br />Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method <br />20 <br />and materials of construction and attachment to the building. <br />21 <br />i. <br />Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- <br />22 <br />mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. <br />23 <br />(2) Freestanding signs under 7 feet in height, including directional signs, freestanding menu <br />24 <br />boards, <br />and real estate and construction signs. <br />25 <br />a. <br />The names, addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of the follow- <br />26 <br />ing parties: <br />27 <br />i. The applicant, <br />28 <br />ii. The owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, <br />29 <br />iii. The owner of the sign, and <br />30 <br />iv. The person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br />31 <br />b. <br />Address and location of the property where the sign will be installed. <br />32 <br />c. <br />Type of sign (pylon or monument). <br />33 <br />d. <br />Dimer isiui is of the sign. <br />34 <br />e. <br />Height of the sign. <br />35 <br />f. <br />A scaled site plan showing the proposed sign location, existing signs located on <br />36 <br />the subject property, nearby buildings and structures, public streets, rights-of- <br />37 <br />way, public easements, and property lines. <br />38 <br />g. <br />Detailed schematics of the sign, including plans and specifications for the method <br />39 <br />and materials of construction and attachment to the ground. <br />40 <br />Detailed specifications of sign illumination, including the source and type of illu- <br />41 <br />mination, wattage, and any light shields and shades. <br />42 <br />Sec. 108-240 <br />— Permitting requirements for permanent signs allowed with a building permit. <br />43 <br />All permanent <br />signs requiring a building permit must submit a sign permit application with the <br />44 <br />following information: <br />Page 16 of 30 <br />
