Motion by Councilman Gorham, seconded by Councilman Reimann to rescind the action of March 22, 1976, whereas the Council accepted the final plat of Flintwood Hills and to accept the introduced final plat of Flintwood Hills with two additional lots. Carri ed 4 to O. Mr. Douglas Lynch, 155th and Nutria was present to speak on the subject of the vacation of a cul de sac adjacent to his property. " Motion by Councilman Gorham, seconded by Councilman Reimann to set a public hearing on the request to vacate the cul de sac at the intersection of 155th and Nutria. The public hearing to be heard at 7:00 p.m., on September 13th in the Music Room of Ramsey El ementary School. . 1 Carried 4 to 0 Craig Kinderman, request for a variance to build on a lot conveyed by metes and bounds. Motion by Councilman Reimann, s~conded by Councilman Mickelson to grant Mr. Craig Kinderman a variance to build on a lot conveyed by metes and bounds and waive the requirement to meet with the Planning and Zoning Commission. Ca rri ed 4 to 0 ~ Mayor Cox presented a plan for a service road along the south side of Highway 10, Pat Klu~ak of 15330 Iguana and Carolyn Hamilton complained about their neighborhood and loud trucks and vandalism in the area and child abuse. Clerk Walker to contact the women to set up an information meeting for the neighborhood. . .. Ordinance 76-3, Nuisance Ordinance. Motio~ by Mayor Cox, seconded by Councilman Gorham to adopt City Ordinance 76-3 a Nuisance Ordinance. Carried 3 to 1 Councilman Reimann voted Naye Re po rts Park Department. Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to appoint Mr. Craig Fiedler to the Park and Recreation Commission to complete Robert Bensonls tenure on the Commission. Carried 4 to 0 The minutes of the Park and Recreation Committee read by Mayor Cox. The Park and Recreation Department Report read by Clerk Walker. Noted and filed. The resignation of Tim Paquette was read by Mayor Cox. Motion by Councilman Gorham, seconded by Councilman Reimann to accept the resignation of Mr. Paquette. Ca'rri ed 4 to 0 Street Department Report. Read and noted. The Street Foreman, Merle Mev;ssen was present and formally requested a new maintenance shop and truck. Discussion, no action at this time. Police Report. Read and noted. Building Report. Read and noted. Les Wirz the building inspector-assessor was present and requested a meeting with the Council on the procedures for the 1977 assessing. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th day of September. Clerk Treasurer Walker. It is the consensus of the Council members present that Mr. Walker will have time off from August 31st to September 15th to look for future employment. Payment of Bills. Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Gorham to pay the bills with additions, the sum of $26,831.85. Carri ed 4 to 0 Councilman Reimann wants a letter sent to Mr. Ed Fields, County Commissioner expressing appreciation for the fencing of the County Park and the blocking of the roads in the park area. 4 "
