Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Mickelson <br />to appoint Mr. Craig Fiedler to the Park and Recreation Commission to complete <br />Robert Bensonls tenure on the Commission. <br />Carried 4 to 0 <br /> <br />The minutes of the Park and Recreation Committee read by Mayor Cox. The <br />Park and Recreation Department Report read by Clerk Walker. Noted and filed. <br />The resignation of Tim Paquette was read by Mayor Cox. <br />Motion by Councilman Gorham, seconded by Councilman Reimann to accept the <br />resignation of Mr. Paquette. <br /> <br />Ca'rri ed 4 to 0 <br /> <br />Street Department Report. Read and noted. <br />The Street Foreman, Merle Mev;ssen was present and formally requested a new <br />maintenance shop and truck. Discussion, no action at this time. <br /> <br />Police Report. <br /> <br />Read and noted. <br /> <br />Building Report. Read and noted. Les Wirz the building inspector-assessor <br />was present and requested a meeting with the Council on the procedures for <br />the 1977 assessing. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th day <br />of September. <br /> <br />Clerk Treasurer Walker. It is the consensus of the Council members present <br />that Mr. Walker will have time off from August 31st to September 15th to look <br />for future employment. <br /> <br />Payment of Bills. <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilman Gorham to pay the bills <br />with additions, the sum of $26,831.85. <br /> <br />Carri ed 4 to 0 <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann wants a letter sent to Mr. Ed Fields, County Commissioner <br />expressing appreciation for the fencing of the County Park and the blocking of <br />the roads in the park area. 4 <br /> <br />" <br />
