The asterick denotes those positions which were by design set below the <br />Metro Mean because these positions were so far below the Metro Mean when <br />the City reorganized its pay plan. The double asterick indicates where <br />the City lowered the position below the Metro Mean (average). The City <br />should start correcting these situations at least with the Chief of <br />Police, Public Works Superintenden% and Light Equipment Operator. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee Action - Your action will be to review the contents <br />of pages 1 and 2 of enclosure (1) and by motion approve/disapprove the <br />proposed adjustments and cost of living percentages and the proposed <br />salaries.
